| Little Russets is a purpose built nursery in Slinfold, West Sussex. Set within 6 acres of its own private grounds, it has a bluebell wood and plenty of wildlife. We are open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. for children aged from 0-5 years. We offer an earlier start time of 8.30 a.m. and a breakfast club from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. to those parents requiring this additional facility. We are open during term time only and this year we will be running a holiday club for one week during the Easter holidays and for two weeks at the beginning of the summer holidays, if there is a demand for this. Our aim is to provide an environment in which children feel happy, secure and confident to explore and learn about the world around us. A strong emphasis is placed on outdoor learning in which we incorporate the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We spend the majority of our time outside in the fresh air, with the belief that there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing! In our last Ofsted Report on 21/04/09 we achieved 'Outstanding' in all areas. (Inspection Report EY376121) |
